Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items sold by St. Paul Book Centre within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original condition with all packaging, tags, and accessories.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and Unopened: Books should be in their original packaging with seals intact
  • In Original Condition: No writing, highlighting, or damage to pages
  • Complete: All components, CDs, inserts, and bookmarks included
  • Within Return Window: Returned within 10 days of delivery date
  • With Proof of Purchase: Original invoice or order number required

Approved Returns

Books damaged during shipping, wrong books shipped, defective printing/missing pages, or quality issues.

Conditional Returns

Change of mind returns may be accepted with deduction of shipping charges and restocking fee (if applicable).

Rejected Returns

Books with writing/highlighting, damaged due to misuse, missing components, or past return window.

Return Shipping

  • Free Returns: We provide free return shipping for items that are defective, damaged, or incorrect
  • Customer Pays: For change of mind returns, customer pays return shipping charges
  • Self-Ship Returns: For COD orders or international returns, you may need to ship at your expense
  • Pickup Service: Free pickup available in select metro cities for approved returns

Refund Policy

Refund Amount

  • Full Refund: For defective/damaged/wrong items, you receive 100% refund including shipping charges
  • Partial Refund: For change of mind returns, refund amount = item price - shipping charges (if any) - restocking fee*
  • Restocking Fee: 10% restocking fee may apply for opened books or non-defective returns (waived for members)
  • Gift Cards: Refunds for gift card purchases are issued as store credit

Important: Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order before it ships. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and standard return policies apply.

Refund for Cancellations: For cancelled orders, refunds are processed within 24-48 hours. The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your payment method and bank.
